Genesis

KVS being the pace-setting organization in school education in India, established Zonal Institutes of Education and Training as exclusive institutes for imparting training to its employees.
• ZIET Bhubaneswar is one among the 05 ZIETs established to cater to the training needs of teaching and non-teaching staff including the Principals of KVS.
• Since its inception in 2011, KVS-ZIET Bhubaneswar in providing excellent training to the teaching and non- teaching staff of KVS with the available resources.
• Initially this Institute was established in the campus of KV No.3, Bhubaneswar and is presently functioning in the campus of KV No.4, Niladri Vihar, Bhubaneswar.
• The KVS-ZIET Bhubaneswar has been given the responsibility of catering to the training needs of the staff of 06 regions namely Bhubaneswar, Guwahati, Kolkata, Ranchi, Silchar and Tinsukia.
• Teachers are trained periodically at KVS-ZIET Bhubaneswar through systematic training modules, to understand the latest pedagogies, new trends in educational technology, classroom management and emerging issues in Education.
