1. Whether KVS has its own Training Institute?

Ans. Yes, Zonal Institutes of Education and Trainiing (ZIET) are the training institutes of KVS.

2. How many ZIETs are functional & which places?

Ans. Five ZIETs are functional at Mumbai, Gwalior, Mysore, Chandigarh and Bhubaneswar. ZIET Mumbai is being upgraded to KVS NationalLlevel Institute of Training.

3. Does ZIET Bhubaneswar have Hostel Facilities?

Ans: No, ZIET Bhubaneswar has not any hostel facility.

4.What re the broad aims of IN-SERVICE Education & Training

Ans: Capacity building and change in attitude of the teachers of Kendriya
Vidyalayas

5. Are short-term courses also organised?

Ans: Yes, short term courses ranging from 3-7 days are also organized on various topics, depending upon need.

6. Whether KVS imparts Training to its employees through other agencies?

Ans:Yes,if required, KVS employees are deputed to attend training programmes conducted by Govt. Institutes, agencies empanelled by CBSE and other agencies approved by the competent authority.

7. Where is ZIET Bhubaneswar situated?

Ans:ZIET Bhubaneswar is situated in K.V. No 4 Bhubaneswar Campus, Niladri Vihar, Near Buddha Park, Sailasri Vihar (PO), Chandrasekharpur, Bhubaneswar-751021,Odisha.

8. Who prepares the Training calender of ZIETs?

Ans:Each ZIET prepares its own training calender every academic year and it is approved by KVS HQ.

9. How many KVS Regions are covered under ZIET Bhubaneswar?Name the regions.

Ans:06 KVS Regions. Bhubaneswar, Guwahati, Kolkata, Ranchi, Silchar and Tinsukia.
